Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Teradata
Stephen Brobst is the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) for Teradata Corporation. He is widely regarded as a leading expert in data warehousing and joined the Teradata team in October of 1999. Previously, Brobst successfully launched three start-up companies related to high-end database products and services in the data warehousing and e-business marketplaces.These businesses included: Tanning Technology Corporation (IPO on NASDAQ), NexTek Solutions (acquired by IBM), and Strategic Technologies & Systems (acquired by NCR).
Stephen also taught graduate courses at Boston University and the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in both the MBA program at the Sloan School of Management and in the computer science departments of both universities. He continues as a frequent guest lecturer at MIT and the Kellogg Graduate School of Management. Stephen performed master's and Ph.D. research at MIT, where his dissertation focused on load-balancing and resource allocation for massively parallel computing architectures. He also holds an MBA with joint course and thesis work at the Harvard Business School and the MIT Sloan School of Management. Brobst completed his undergraduate work in electrical engineering and computer science in just three years at University of California, Berkeley, and was awarded the highest honor given to a graduating senior in the College of Engineering (Bechtel Engineering Award).

Director of Enterprise Analytics & Data, Philip Morris International
Eric Daly is the Director of Enterprise Analytics & Data (EAD), a more than one hundred person team jointly responsible for advanced analytics and data governance at Philip Morris International Inc. (PMI). Eric started at PMI in 2017 as Director, EAD Data Science and was appointed to his current role in June 2018. Eric plays a key role in PMI's transition to become a data-driven company. In his role, he manages over 40 data scientists and team leads in three locations (Lausanne, Amsterdam, and Krakow) to assist PMI's progress toward its smoke-free future. In addition to his Data Science oversight, Eric oversees groups responsible for Business Intelligence, Data Architecture, Data Engineering, Data Management and Quality, as well as Analytics Strategy.
Before taking on his role at Philip Morris, Eric was the Vice President of Data Science and Analytics for Sony Pictures Entertainment, where he had been for the prior twelve years. His responsibilities included strategy and analysis for driving profitability in the home entertainment market including the forecasting of title demand, assessment of market trends, test and learn experimentation, affinity analysis, data mining, customer segmentation associated with retail partner data, and the greenlighting of new films and television shows.
Prior to joining Sony Pictures, Eric was a Senior Manager at Gateway and was responsible for business planning, marketing mix modeling, and forecasting. Previously, he was a Systems Programmer for IBM following his stint with the USA Men's Volleyball Team where he was both a player and team manager. Eric has a BS in Computer Science from MIT, an MS in Statistics from UCLA, and an MBA from the Anderson School of Business.
Analytics Consulting Manager, Teradata
Matt is a software engineer at heart with a strong passion and interest in machine learning and data science. He used to be ranked amongst the top 100 data scientists on Kaggle.com, the world's largest data science community with over 70'000 members. He has a great interest and pleasure in building intelligent software solutions, that solve real business problems. Matt currently works as a Principle Data Engineer at Teradata.

Fawad is a Technology Consultant having more than 16 years of international industry project experience involving consulting on enterprise data warehouses, big data analytics and performance management solutions. Throughout his career, he has worked with technology starting from Engineering, to Solution Delivery and finally in Pre-Sales and Business Development. This has enabled him to experience all stages of the technology lifecycle which enables him to make technology simpler for the clients. In his current role, he works as a Director of Solution Engineering for customers across the EMEA region. He is Certified in several technologies including AWS, OpenStack, Teradata, Tableau, Hadoop & Spark.
